3S Learning Center in Katy, TX, seeks for experienced, passionate, and responsible teacher, tutor, and staff for school-age students in our academically rigorous tutoring program. Our Center provides personalized subject-oriented after-school tutoring. You will have the opportunity to involve in a creative, professional, friendly and international team to establish an evolutionary education system. Teachers and staff are responsible for ensuring a clean, friendly, welcoming environment; ensuring the implementation of our world-leading curriculum; ensuring the health and safety of the children in their care as well as effective communication with the children’s parents.

3S Learning Center

Teacher – Reading and Writing

  • Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree considered a plus, English major is preferred.
  • 1-5 years of childcare experience.
  • Be of good character and reputation.
  • Be of sufficient physical, mental and emotional health to perform job duties satisfactorily.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
  • Possess skills, attributes, and characteristics conducive to and suitable for dealing with children.
  • Must speak English well enough to communicate with children, staff, management and parents.
  • Must be able to read and write English well enough to prepare, complete and maintain administrative forms and records as required by current governmental regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of Elementary school students growth and development.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of all current government rules and regulations that pertain to the operation of the center.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all policies and procedures.
  • Establish a well-managed classroom incorporating all center programs within the daily schedule.
  • Utilize a center-based approach to offer children an opportunity for creative and independent activities.
  • Attend staff meetings, training, and workshops as requested.
  • Maintain student records as required.
  • Report all problems to the Center Director.
  • Train and co-teach as requested.
  • Prepare class materials.
  • Maintain a “Tour Ready” classroom.
  • Satisfy the mandatory physical and background checks as required by state and company regulations.

 

Private Tutors – SAT, ACT, Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Physics, Chemistry, and et al.

  • Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree considered a plus, Science, and Engineering majors are preferred.
  • 1-5 years’ experience in teaching high school students.
  • Be of good character and reputation.
  • Be of sufficient physical, mental and emotional health to perform job duties satisfactorily.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
  • Possess skills, attributes, and characteristics conducive to and suitable for dealing with school students.
  • Must speak English well enough to communicate with students, staff, management, and parents.
  • Must be able to read and write English well enough to prepare, complete and maintain administrative forms and records as required by current governmental regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of high school students growth and development.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of all current government rules and regulations that pertain to the operation of the center.

Receptionist

Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notifies company personnel of visitor arrival; maintains security and telecommunications system. Prepare paperwork for visitors and customers. Keep the registration record for the customers.

  • Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
  • Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions.
  • Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; filling visitor form.
  • Maintains telecommunication system by following manufacturer’s instructions for house phone and console operation.
  • Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Maintains the academic record of all students and plans and implements the registration process.
  • Works with other employees to coordinate times and locations for class meetings and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Keep records of all classes and curriculum
  • Be responsible for collecting tuition and other related fees.
  • Recommend useful technological updates and implementations to create a more efficient work environment.
  • Need to be familiar with policies.
  • Prepare materials for customers and class including paperwork, study materials, and notes.
  • Deliver materials to customers.

  • Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning (Assist if Assistant Teacher)
  • Provide individualized instruction to each student
  • Ensuring a clean, friendly, welcoming environment;
  • Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc.)
  • Ensuring the implementation of our world-leading curriculum;
  • Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback
  • Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom
  • Ensuring the health and safety of the children in their care as well as effective communication with the children’s parents.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders and participate in regular meetings
